Creative Use of Magazine Pages

The old magazine can be used in various creative ways to decorate your heart shaped dish, or any other tray. It is a beautiful and neat project.

You can use pages of old magazines to cover the heart shape lid, or any other tray. You can cut the pages of magazine in quite different shapes with the help of a paper cutter. The project is really easy, because all things are easily available at your own home.

Stack the magazine pages in lengthwise direction and attach them with the help of glue. Fold the prepared strips in ½ and bend them into a V shape. Continue your work in the same manner, and glue every inch to adjoin the new strips at the end of previous one. You have to finally get a heart shape.

After getting the heart of your required size, start building the sides of your dish and glue them at the bottom. Go all the way around according to the heart shape and continue your work until you get your dish completely decorated.

You can construct the lid in a similar manner, but the smaller lids will be required according to the size of the lid. Take the regular strips once or twice and completely decorate the lid. For durability, coat everything 3 times and enjoy a creative tray decoration.
