Welcome to yet another very exciting DIY project which will make you start valuing your recycled items. This project is one that combines quite a few things that have been quite popular on many different DIY websites enabling you to work out like chalk paint, old cupboard doors/drawers, and old faucet handles used as hooks. All of us are well familiar that you can make your DIY projects less expensive by using many of the old items easily available at your home.
The basic materials that have been used to complete this DIY project include the old cupboard door and drawer front. Moreover other includes the leftover box of grout having a pint of grout sealer and some little square slate tiles. While preparing the paint you must continuously stir so that lumps are not being created. You must be very careful while using the chalk board paint and if you are not sure how to use there was many websites showing in videos how to do that and surface is not to be sanded first, overnight it has to be dried then sanding the surface with 150 grit sandpaper.
On the two racks, you will have to drill the two holes for hanging purpose. You can remove the sharp edges with the sanding. It all has to be bind so well with the nuts and handles as it also depends on the thickness of the board. If all the handles are kept different they give a perfect look.
