Decorate Your House at Halloween with Recycled Items

On this Halloween, engage your kids in a creative project because the plastic soda bottles can be decorated to convert in hanging lights. The project is really easy, just collect some soda bottles and make different faces to decorate them. After coloring the plastic bottles, put lights in the bottles and hang them. You can complete this project by following few simple steps:

In the first step, you have to finalize three different faces and colors, such as white, green, black, orange or any other color. You can design Jack-O-Lanterns, Ghosts and Frankenstein faces on the bottles.

You can use spray paints, or colorful tissue papers to wrap around the bottles. Completely cover the bottles with tissue papers and for small areas, you can cut the papers into small pieces. Seal the tissue papers with sculpt-or-coat over to get a neat and clean look.

Paint the ghost faces on the bottles, and for this purpose, you can use acrylic paint. Let them dry for the whole night, and then hang them by putting lights in each bottle.
