Pleasant Sweater Crafts

I was thinking to get rid of some old sweaters, which had stains and marks on it. The sweater was torn and shabby. It was not in better shape to wear, but can be used to make some sort of recycling art. So, I decided to repurpose it. So, I started with the sleeve cuffs.

First of all, I cut the sweater cuff off and wrap it around the coffee cup to give it a beautiful look with the help of instant recycled things. It looked so simple, so I thought to add something out of recycled things to make it more appealing. An idea popped up in my mind and I added flowers to the cuffs using the colored buttons and morsel of fabrics left over in the home. I used two colored flowers on the cuffs for decoration of cuff. So, the simple coffee cup was presented in a creative way with the help of recycling art.

The other parts of the sweater were left behind, which could be further used around the jar to make the votive holder. I wrapped the cuffs around the mason jar and added artificial flowers and jute thread to the jar. Then I filled the mason jar with the popcorn kernels and placed a candle over the popcorn to make it interesting. This is the best example of recycling art and looks elegant for the winter.
